Behind the Scenes

Here is a picture we took of ourselves on a park bench in the middle of the village green, in Bar Harbor, Maine.  There is a lot going on in this shot that I can't really explain with any kind of brevity, but I can tell you that when I took this picture I wasn't in Maine; I was in Heaven. 

Lauren was three weeks into working with J Gulinello on some chronic health issues that had us at a near rock-bottom in April, and she was already seeing major relief in ways we worried would never be possible. We were still riding a high from our wedding in the Church a couple of days prior, and now here we are sitting on this bench with Aurora, who beams rays of golden sunshine wherever she goes. The weather was perfect, the town was serene and smelling of lilac, and I am so happy that I was almost unable to hold myself together. You can see it, too.  Anyway, I share this with you all because another thing that made me happy is knowing whenever our little time in Heaven was over, I'd be back to work, doing something I love for people who "get me".  Cheers! - Frank

July Honorable Mentions

The month took an unexpected turn in the immediate aftermath of the historic events on the evening of July 13th in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Frank was leaving a family graduation party when texts began to roll in about the assassination attempt on President Trump. Frank made the quick decision to head to the studio that Saturday night for an impromptu broadcast. There were plenty of poignant calls from the audience as we all began to make sense of the unfolding situation. You can watch that episode here.

A viral pop act best known for their single "I'm Too Sexy", The Freds are still making music, touring, producing, and now they have become a bit of a political firebrand when they're not on stage. Frank and the guys talk censorship, intellectual rebellion, the media, and much more.

It’s summer 2024 and A.J. Cella has just returned home to Medford, Oregon, from one of his monumental cross-country motorcycle tours. Fans of Quite Frankly may know Cella better as Zosodude77 or simply Brother Zo. The charismatic elder statesman with the voice of a radio legend has been charming Franklies from coast to coast for half a decade. Whether you have conversed with Zoso in one of the show’s chat rooms, enjoyed his soothing vocals during a live broadcast, or met the man in person, you’ve likely come to appreciate his stories from the road and his life in the fast lane.

Frank’s Summer Reading

Frank & Lindsey Scharmyn will be hosting The NeverEnding Story book club on Monday nights in August at 9pm EST. We can’t wait to see you there!

Raymond Ibrahim’s “Defenders of the West; The Christian Heroes Who Stood Against Islam”. It’s pretty straight-up, whenever someone references the crusades it’s always about a “mistake that was made” or an act of aggression “in the name of God”, but this puts into context how the crusades were a righteous counter-offensive that preserved Western civilization in a way we still benefit from today. I love how the book concentrates on 10 main historical figures and their heroic almost legendary deeds.

On the Watch-List

Lauren and I are watching Clarkson's Farm (available on Amazon Prime), which was suggested to me by Jimmy Corsetti. It really is funny in a dry, British sort of way. Jeremy Clarkson bought a huge swath of land, decided to become a farmer, and is learning the ins and outs along the way. Really lighthearted stuff.

The second thing, I have been watching on my own is The Chosen (available on Amazon Prime). Season Four just came out which culminates with Jesus saddling up and preparing to enter Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.  I have watched plenty of biblical movies, and we all know how they end, but regardless of being familiar with the source material, the writers for The Chosen have been able to build up incredible amounts of suspense and political tension.  It is an emotional ride from the Christmas pilot episode right through season four, and there are three more seasons to go.  Get on board!

Life Away from the Studios

In the dog days of Summer, it’s all about family fun in the sun! It’s been a lotta lounge chairs in the driveway, sprinklers, and the occasional trip to the beach where we have learned too much about the mating habits of horseshoe crabs. We have really been making the most of the beautiful weather, and of course as Italians from NY - we have the tans to prove it!

John Carroll Highlights the Power of New Media as the Race for the White House Intensifies

One of the most effective forms of resistance against the New World Order is to simply ignore it whenever possible, and to instead shift your focus to your local communities. This approach allows you to set realistic short-term goals, and places the responsibility for your success in your own hands. You also deprive the NWO of oxygen when you think and act locally. The same concept applies to new media, but this is a special case, because new media isn’t geographically local. The nature of the internet is inherently global, so the simplest meme from the smallest person has the power to alter the course of humanity.

Case in point: The biggest challenge currently plaguing the Democrat Party is the lack of a presidential candidate with a reasonable chance of winning in November. Not a candidate, mind you, who can win outright, but a candidate whose victory, even if won through fraud, would at least be believable by most of the electorate. What they need now more than ever is a superstar with universal name recognition, White House experience, a halfway-decent reputation, and who, ideally, checks all the DEI boxes. In other words, they need Michelle Obama.

There’s just one problem – one big, girthy, veiny problem.
