Out with the Sniffles & In with 2025

Ladies & Gents, after another precious season with friends and family - which of course includes you, the audience - it’s that time of year when we reset and start the whole game over again. Of course, I stumbled to the finish line this year as the night of our final broadcast of 2024, I caught the sniffles in the second hour of the broadcast with J, and that turned into two and a half days lying on my back, and missing the ball drop for the first time since I was eight years old.

After throwing every trick in the book at this sinus infection of mine, I’m feeling really good, ready and inspired for 2025, especially with all the things that we have going on with the audience and new things that we have lined up for our monthly sponsors. Which includes, most importantly, Film Club as a counterpart to Book Club. The first movie that we are going to watch in February 2025 is Interstellar, which is a cinematic experience I have been waiting a long time to finally see in its entirety.

It’s exciting and necessary work for us to not only know what’s going on in the world, but to be a bigger part in the rebuilding of our culture. That’s why we have to take extra special care in the stories that we tell, in the movies that we watch, in the music we create - and there’s going to be a lot of musical creations this year, a lot of watching good films, or good and bad films, new and old and spirited conversation about all of that, and everything in between.

And who can forget the inauguration in a couple of weeks, which will be light years from the twilight zone experience that was January 2021. So much has happened since the November election and I’m sure everybody has their theories as to how the news of last couple of months is going to dictate the direction of the new administration, but we can only ever wait and see, and in the meanwhile take care of business at home.

Thank you for choosing to continue to support new media in 2025, and for being a part of our Quite Frankly family, we couldn’t do it without you.

Wishing you nothing but the best at the new year can offer and may we all be ready to seize the day when the opportunity may present itself.

Through the Great Filter and Beyond

BY John Carroll

As we anxiously await the Inauguration, I can’t help being optimistic. Like many of us, the one thing I’m hoping for more than anything else is disclosure, especially with respect to the big issues like human trafficking and treason by high-ranking government officials. Personally, I also want the vindication that will come with disclosure, and I don’t care if it’s selfish. If there is any chance of rebuilding the relationships that were destroyed over the last eight years, it’s going to have to start with the following words – “I told you so.”

This is an excerpt Lauren found from the article “What are your 2025 New Year’s resolutions? See the 6 most common and tips for keeping them” by Alexis Simmerman of the USA TODAY NETWORK, published in Austin American-Statesman.

“Data and business intelligence platform Statista surveyed 1,050 Americans ages 18 to 80 about their 2025 New Year’s resolutions. The survey had a total of 15 options and allowed for multiple selections.

  1. Save more money (21%)

  2. Eat healthier (19%)

  3. Exercise more (17%)

  4. Lose weight (15%)

  5. Spend more time with family/ friends (14%)

Vintage Frankly

We travel back in time to January of 2024 - at the start of a year that would bring uncertainty, frustration, light to some dark places, a lot of really high points and interesting interviews…

"Mercury, The Pyramids, and Dreamstates" ft. Matt from Cultivate Elevate 1/17/24 In the Summer of 2023, Matt from CultivateElevate made his debut on Quite Frankly to discuss Electroculture, and the little-known potential of copper, especially in agriculture. Following up on on those topics, Frank and Matt also dug into suppressed energy technology (like Mercury), the Pyramids, and even expanded into dreamstates and consciousness.

"Dogman, Portal Talk, and Making Deals with ETs" ft. Tony Merkel 1/24/24 Tony Merkel, host of The Confessionals Podcast, a show which explores the mysterious, the unexplained, and ponders how it may fill in the gaps of our understanding of our strange earthly home, joined Frank to cover UFO Disclosure patters in the media, abduction theories, cryptids, portals, and a few other interrelated topics.

“Memories from the [ZOMBIE] Mall” ft. Jay Myers Documentaries 1/26/24 This was a night to remember, and the calls were stellar. Frank reminisces about a legendary piece of Americana that is quickly going extinct: The Shopping Mall. Calls and submissions from the audience were about their greatest forever-memories of the Mall. In the second half Frank welcomed Jay Myers, of Jay Myers Documentaries, back to talk about the ZOMBIE MALL phenomenon.

Thank you for joining us for the first issue of this hopeful new year.
